Check out our tweezer pinch method…which sounds a lot like the pinch method, because it is! The difference between the pinch method and the tweezer pinch method is that you use a pair of tweezers to pinch the base of the fan instead of using your fingers.
Follow the steps below:
Step 1 | Pull Extensions off the Strip
Place either point of the tweezers on the bottom and top of the extension strip. This is when you choose how big or dense you want the fan to be.Pull off more lash extensions for a bigger, more dense fan, and pull off less lash extensions for a smaller, more narrow fan. Remember, a lot of this depends on how much weight your individual client’s natural lash can hold, so be mindful when you’re making the perfect fan for that lash.
Step 2 | Pinch the Base with the Tweezers
Just like with the pinch method, you’re going to pinch the base of the eyelash extensions. Continue to pinch and release pressure on the tweezers until your base is perfected! The base should be thin, because we don’t want any loose lashes to cause discomfort to the client or clump to other lashes.
Step 3 | Dip the Base into the Adhesive
Once your base is perfected, it’s time to dip it into the adhesive. Pro tip: make sure you’ve shaken your adhesive ahead of time, so your client will have the best possible retention! Don’t go more than 2 mm deep into the adhesive. Less is definitely more.
Step 4 | Apply the Fan to the Lashes
Stick that customized fan on the natural lash it was made for. As long as you remember not to touch the base of the lash to the client’s skin, and you’re gold!Step 5? Repeat!
